JUNIORS

AGE: 4-8 (Approximately)

WHEN: Thursday, 4:00-5:00pm

WHERE: St. Laurence's Community Centre Stillorgan.

This class takes place on Thursday in St. Laurence's Community Centre, Stillorgan and is aimed towards students aged 4-8. This class is designed and catered for young children who may have had no previous experience in drama and to help build confidence from the get go. This class in particular has had great success in helping young children to become more confident as they grow older through a multitude of speech and movement exercises, mime and a lot of fun drama games.

The fee for this class is 200 euro per 15 week term with a free trial class for any new students.

INTERMEDIATES

AGE: 8-12 (Approximately)

WHEN: Tuesday, 4:00-5:30pm 

WHERE: St. Laurence's Community Centre Stillorgan.

Our Intermediate classes take place on Tuesday in St. Laurence's Parish Centre. These classes, which are aimed towards students who are aged around 8-12, focus on more creative aspects of drama such as improvisation and play performances, but we must stress that it is not necessary to join the class with any previous acting or drama experience; everyone is welcome! The aim with these groups is to help the students employ more creative control over the tasks we do in class, allowing them to develop their own ideas, and improve on their confidence in the process.​



The fee for this class is 260 euro per 15 week term with a free trial class for any new students.

JUNIOR YOUTH THEATRE

AGE: 12-15 (Approximately)

WHEN: Saturday, 10:00-11:30am 

WHERE: St. Laurence's Community Centre Stillorgan.

Our Junior Youth Theatre takes place on Saturday in St. Laurence's Parish Centre. This class  covers improvisation, acting, performance, movement and speech, all helping to build confidence in every student in the class, no matter how quiet or outspoken they may be. This class is perfect for students who are heading towards their teenage years and are looking for something laid back but also more elevated. As always, no drama experience is required. Our main goal is to have fun!



The fee for this class is 260 euro per 15 week term with a free trial class for any new students.

YOUTH THEATRE

AGE: 14 and up

WHEN: Tuesday, 5:45-7:15pm

WHERE: St. Laurence's Community Centre Stillorgan.

Our Youth Theatre provides an avenue for secondary school students with an interest in acting and everything drama. The Youth Theatre is a great way for teenagers to make new friends, in a comfortable and judgement-free environment. The classes cover improvisation, acting, performance, movement and speech, all helping to build confidence in every student in the class, no matter how quiet or outspoken they may be. The classes are always relaxed and fun but there is also a focus on producing the best work that we can as a group, and the shows that the Youth Theatre put on are incredibly rewarding and create lifelong bonds and memories between everyone involved.

The fee for this class is 270 euro per 15 week term with a
free trial class for any new students.

SPECIAL NEEDS

WHEN: Saturday, 12:30-2pm

WHERE: St. Laurence's Community Centre Stillorgan.

This class for teens and young adults with intellectual disabilities covers everything from mime and improvisation to singing and dancing. Every student is able to express themselves freely and every voice is heard. We enjoy taking on well-loved classics and adapting them to best suit our students and our class. For example, our productions of "The Greatest Showman" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas" were audience favourites and can both be seen our our YouTube channel "Behind the Scenes: School of Drama".

Please note that this class is generally suited for people with Down syndrome due to nature of the class content. However, if you would like to come along for a free trial class to see if you would be suitable you are more than welcome!
